For our art project during Black History Month we will create collages in homage
to Romare Bearden.

Here is our inspiration from the book,
African-American Crafts Kids Can Do! |

| We will start by putting our pictures in the windows. A big thank you goes to Mrs. Goodman who brought in laser cut houses to work with. |

| Next you gather up all the images you cut out from magazines and other pictures of the students and bring them in a baggie to school. |
 |
Finally, the students will work in a small group to glue the images inside the windows of their house or on the sidewalk, yard or street.
