A big thank you goes out to Dawn, Eric, and Holly for such a fabulous day of fun, learning about the ocean ecosystems and of course, the beach! We love you Roundhouse Aquarium!
| We are so excited to learn about the ocean! |
| Its so much fun to touch a sea star! |
| Hey, what's in there? |
| The Food Chain begins with the Sun. |
| Plant plankton grows from the warmth of the sun. |
| Animal Plankton eat the plant plankton. |
| Anchovies eat the animal plankton. |
| Tuna fish eat the anchovies. |
| The seal eats the tuna fish. The shark eats the seal and the orca whale eats the shark. That is the food chain! |
Sea Star legs regenerate, If one leg gets cut off, it grows another one. |
| Seven years good luck if you kiss the sea cucumber! |
| Finally, somebody gets seven years good luck! |
| Beach wrack is all the trash that washes up on the beach. |
| Look at all this trash that would kill a fish or sea bird if they eat it! Please don't throw trash on the ground! |
| Gross! |
| Shells belong on the beach, they are not trash! |
| Sea weed belongs on the beach, it is not trash. |
