Lifecycles of the Monarch Butterfly!

Learning in the outdoor garden.  Ms. Kelly Dingman donated the milkweed plants and the monarch caterpillars to our classroom to study.  Thank you so much Ms. Kelly!

Can you see the tiny caterpillar?

I love when they hang upside down!

They eat holes in the leaves!

We actually watched a butterfly emerge from the chrysalis this week!

Can you see the tiny egg or larva?

They eat so much they strip the leaves!

This plant hardly has any leaves left!
