Healthy Eating Week was a Delicious Success!

A big thank you goes out to Christina and James from Whole Foods in Venice.  They brought healthy snacks for us to try every day!  My favorite was the watermelon with shredded coconut and lime.

Monday started with a bag of goodies for everyone!

I got Orange Gels and the kids and I thought they were yummy!

We have the Best Parent Volunteers
in Los Angeles!  They scooped watermelon, they passed out Orange Gels, they helped with making smoothies and then they cleaned up all the mess!

Ms. Martha is the bomb!

Ms. Liz is divine!

Ms. Nicole is heaven sent!

I liked this treat the best!  In Greece, we eat watermelon with feta and bread!  Sounds weird, tastes great.

A big thumbs up from Austin!

Nothing better than cool watermelon on a hot day!

On Thursday, Whole Foods had a parent demo and they made smoothies and pasta!

Whole Foods feta is pretty good too!

Ms. Christina made great smoothies!

Ms. Christina made a delicious pasta too!

Ms. Christina made a yummy salad with tomatoes, herbs and avocados!

Ms. Liz enjoying the presentation!

Mr. James on Friday's Whole Foods Field Day Activity.  This is the planting station.

Mr. James is a modern day Johnnie Appleseed!

Egg carton planting is fun!

We love planting with Mr. James!

The smoothie station was so refreshing on a hot autumn day!

A big thumbs up from Mia!

I got a wink and a nod!  Good Stuff!

Everybody is saying how great the smoothie is!

We signed enormous thank you cards too!

Time for the Physical Activity Station with Coach Williams!

Warm up!

Red Light, Green Light!

Red Light!

Taking a break in the shade!

We're ready for Rochambeau aka rock, papers, scissors!

PE is Great!

I see a paper and a rock!

And with that, our Healthy Eating Week Field Day was done!  Thank you Whole Foods and Coach Williams!

Now that's a big hat Mrs. Recendez!
