Sites for Summer Fun

Here are some great websites to explore this summer with your child!  I will be posting more in different subject areas!
Youngzine
A kid-friendly magazine full of interesting current stories about technology, science, society, art, culture, and world news.

FunBrain
FunBrain has over 100 fun, interactive games that develop skills in math, reading and literacy.

Mr. Nussbaum
Mr. Nussbaum is a website with tons of interactive games and activities for math, language arts, history, geography, science and more.

Phonics Student Online Components
Sadlier Phonics has a number of grade-appropriate online games and activities for students Pre-6.

This website is a free resource for young students to practice letters and sounds! Its phonics-based approach is perfect for PreK, kindergarten, first grade and second grade.

A big thank you goes to Ms. Volmer, as I copied this information from her blog.  Thank you, you're a fabulous blogger and I love reading your blog.
