Science Center Field Trip

My group of scientists:  Cheryl, Isabelle, Imani, and Mia.

Before we explored the Science Center we watched a video about biodiversity on our beautiful, blue planet.
Watch out, the Venus Fly Trap is gonna get you!

Everything depends on the plant kingdom!

Cells, cells everywhere!

Tigers are an endangered species.  Habitat loss is the number one reason many plants and animals are going extinct.

This is the inside of the AIDS virus.

Plants and animals are made up of trillions of specialized cells.

Here we are learning about how the heart pumps blood through the body.

Everything alive was once an egg.

I love these little chicks.  I wanted to get a chicken coop at the house but my husband says no!

Emperor Penguins live in Antartica.

Here is an emperor penguin skull.

We went into the desert habitat next.

Reptiles are cold blooded.

I like how she is feeding the roadrunner while the turkey buzzard is thinking, "Where's my treat?"

We moved to the oceans habitat.

Jellyfish are translucent.

I like how the sea kelp anchors itself to the ocean floor and grows tall like a mermaid's hair.
